Ashling Hotel FAQ

Check-in is 3pm.
Check-out is 12 noon.

We serve breakfast, lunch and evening meals in Chesterfields Restaurant 7 days a week. We also have a 24 hour pizza room service menu. Food is also served in our Iveagh Bar.Lunch menu is served from 12 – 5pm then an evening menu from 5pm to 9pm. All dietary requirements catered for, just let us know.

Yes, we offer complimentary Wifi throughout the Hotel

Yes we have secure multistorey car parking in the Hotel. We offer residents a discounted overnight rate of €17.50 for 24 hours. We also have an hourly rate for non-residents which is €3.50 per hour. Car-parking cannot be reserved and is on a first come-first-served basis. There is a height restriction of 1.9meters.

Yes, we have elevators servicing all 7 floors of the Hotel including the basement level

We are located about thirty minutes from Dublin airport. It is easily accessible by taxis which are available in abundance outside the airport and it would cost in the region of €25.00. There is a bus service called the Dublin Express number 747 available outside the arrivals Terminal 1 & 2 at Dublin Airport. The last stop on this service is Heuston Intercity Rail station and we are located just across the River Liffey from this stop. Journey time is approximately 40/50 minutes depending on traffic levels across the city and it costs €7.00 approx. per person each way. Full schedule details are available online @

We can request a quiet room for your stay with us however we are a city centre hotel so on occasion there is external noise which we have no control over unfortunately. We will endeavour to allocate your room in a quiet section of the Hotel.

Yes, Ashling Hotel accepts the Go Anywhere Gift Card. When you arrive at the hotel, please present your gift card at reception. Where possible, please notify us in advance of your stay that you intent to use the gift card.

Our family rooms can cater for families for 4 or 5 people. We also have interconnecting bedrooms and rooms which are large enough to accommodate a travel cot.
Yes, all 226 bedrooms are fully air-conditioned which also controls the heat in those cold winter months.
We have a mixture of room types which have bath/shower combinations and walk in showers. Please let us know if you have any accessibility requirements and we will be happy to discuss options with you.
We can request an early check-in however check-in is not guaranteed until 3pm. If we are unable to facilitate your request for an early check-in, we will be delighted to store your luggage until your room is ready. If you wish to guarantee and early check-in before 3pm we recommend you reserve a room from the night before that way the room will be ready when you arrive.
Yes, we have several bedrooms which are wheelchair user friendly. Please contact the Hotel directly and we would be happy to go through bedroom option with you.

We are currently operating a Do not Disturb (DND) policy on all bedrooms. This means our housekeeping staff will not enter your room to clean or service it. If you are staying more than one night and wish for your room to be serviced, you can make arrangements with the front desk to have your room serviced while you are out for the day. We would advise arranging this the evening prior or the very latest that morning, so we can make our housekeeping team aware of the request.

No unfortunately we do not offer babysitting services.

We have large family rooms, travel cots on request as well as providing children’s menus.

All guests must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation in Ashling Hotel regardless of the booking platform you use.  Children and young people under 18 years old are welcome in Ashling Hotel once a parent or guardian is also a resident in the hotel at the same time.

The Hotel reserves the right to request valid photographic proof of identity and age.

Breakfast is served in Chesterfields Restaurant Monday to Friday 6.30 am to 10.30 am.

Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays  7 am to 11 am.
