L Mulligan – Restaurant & Bar – 10-minute walk

Another fantastic restaurant supplying the finest Irish food and drink is L Mulligan in Stoneybatter, a 10-minute walk from our 4-star hotel in Dublin. The food menu is seasonal & they work with Irish producers and farmers to feature as many local ingredients as possible. They make most components of their meals in-house including sauces, desserts, bread, preserves and gravy.  Many of their dishes are vegan, organic and free range and all are packed with flavour. Their charcuterie board to share is a highlight with samples of many tasty meats, cheeses, and accompaniments. Their drinks menu is as impressive as the food menu with syrups and garnish made on-site from their allotment. It’s a fantastic option for dining in Dublin.

Grano – Restaurant – 10-minute walk

Aside from local food, there is nothing we are more excited by than pasta. Grano, a renowned Italian restaurant a short walk from Ashling Hotel Dublin, has taken the premise of Calabrian family recipes and transformed it into a wholesome dining experience. Freshly made pasta is combined with the finest Italian flavours and recipes for a simple but fantastic dish, every time. They have gluten-free pasta too so celiacs need not miss out. Aside from the pasta and starters, their homemade desserts will stay with you for as long as you can remember. The impressive wine list has something for anyone who appreciates Italian winemaking. It’s a busy spot so be sure to make a reservation.

Soup 2 – Restaurant & Bar– 15-minute walk

Soup 2 describes itself as a modern Asian diner with cocktails & craft beer. Inside there is a laid-back, casual atmosphere, ideal to catch up with friends or family. A former pub, the restaurant is now filled with colour and music. Their menu has some of the best ramen in Dublin (possibly Ireland!) at very reasonable costs. When you look behind the scenes, you’ll see everything is made in-house from the noodles to the broth and all of the fermented food like Kimchi and Kombucha. Soup 2 is vegan, pet and family-friendly with plenty of large tables for groups. We recommend trying some of their house cocktails to experience the unique flavours.
