Dublin Hotel Iveagh Bar

Ashling Hotel Dublin

Iveagh Bar

Bright, modern and comfortably sophisticated, our Iveagh Bar is the perfect place to spend a while winding down. Put a cold beer, a hot whiskey, a coffee or a celebratory cocktail in your hand, and you may not want to move. And since we serve delicious snacks and bar food until 9 in the evening, you may not have to.

Stay in the know

Edward Cecil Guinness (of the brewing dynasty), was given the title 1st Earl of Iveagh in 1919 in recognition of his philanthropy – in particular, providing homes and amenities for the poor of Dublin. However, there was another side to Edward; he and his wife were known to entertain lavishly at their home on St Stephen’s Green.

Great Food

The food is lovely here whether you want a light meal from the starters selection or something more substantial from the mains, you can choose and nobody minds. Excellent value for money. I would recommend the Beef and Guinness Pie, melt in the mouth deliciousness.

Delicious!

The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. After a week of driving Ireland, we were too tired to leave the hotel for dinner – we were not disappointed. Definitely recommend!
