Great Dublin Hotel
We stayed here with our two teenagers. Everything was comfortable and quiet. The buffet breakfast was fabulous. This hotel is conveniently located on the red line which can get you down to the more touristy part of Dublin. It is in easy walking distance of Kilmainham Gaol, Jameson Distillery and Guinness. It is also extremely close to the train if you would like to hop on that to get to Galway or other Ireland destinations.

I stayed in the Ashling hotel for one night along with an individual I support with an intellectual disability. From booking the rooms to staying at the hotel the staff were so helpful. Getting us rooms next door to each other, late checkout, holding our luggage they couldn’t have done enough for us. The individual thoroughly enjoyed her stay as did I. We would highly recommend the Ashling hotel and will definitely be back.

An exceptionally pleasant stay
We stayed here to attend The Eagles concert in 3Arena. It was an excellent choice in terms of location i.e proximity to Heuston Station and The Luas to 3Arena. We were very impressed with the staff in all areas and the customer service in general

We were fortunate to be able to get rooms (2) for our group when the air B&B suddenly cancelled our reservation a week before our trip. This hotel has it all – good location, good food, nice bar, friendly service, etc. We had a physically challenged person in our party so the close location to Hueston train station was a blessing. We also ate at two pubs nearby which were wonderful also.

The Ashling was our easy favorite of the three hotels we stayed at while in Ireland. It is located right off Phoenix Park, so the area is far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be peaceful, but still close enough to walk along the Liffey to all the hot spots in town. We took advantage of the luggage storage, on-site bar, and tour booking kiosk as well.

Really amazing stay at Ashling! Was recommended through some friends that had stayed a few months prior. Very nice, clean rooms. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great breakfast buffet every morning. Very convenient car park within building that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Would 100% choose Ashling again.

A very comfortable stay!
The rooms are spacious and comfortable beds. A large balcony to the rear of the room. The most amazing breakfast with so much choice. I had fresh kippers every day. There is also a bar that serves great food at lunch or dinner. The staff are super friendly and the rooms are clean and tidy. Right opposite the Guinness factory and a short walk to the Museum or Jameson distillery. A tram and bus stop round the corner. What more could you ask for?

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We had a triple room and it was great. Really spacious and cleaned every day. Staff were friendly, especially the luggage storage guy. I thought it was a bit far from the centre but easy public transport routes right outside. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great hotel, great location!
This hotel is situated near the Heuston train station, and down the street from the Luas (tram). It was very easy to get around Dublin. The hotel rooms are very clean and the staff is very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner menu at Iveagh’s Bar was reasonable and very good. There are also some wonderful pubs down the street, Ryan’s, that had delicious food and Nancy’s Hands. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful hotel – excellent location!
We stayed here on our final night in Dublin. The hotel is beautiful and our room was great! We had a family room, one double and two twins, and while the room itself was a little cramped, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was very quiet – we didn’t hear any hallway noise from our room. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was delicious! The perfect way to say goodbye to a magical week in Ireland!

Great place to stay, especially if you’re driving
Dublin was our first stop on our Ireland road trip. We chose the Ashling because it looked like an easy drive from the airport, would allow us to avoid driving in the city center, and was right near the road we needed to take to our next stop. It was a great choice! The location is removed from downtown, but is an easy walk and it’s also right near a hop on/hop off stop, making it very convenient. All of the staff were extremely friendly, our room was huge with a wonderful view of the river, and parking was extremely easy and affordable. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re planning on driving.
