The Royal Hospital Kilmainham is a fantastic 17th Century building that has housed the Irish Museum of Modern Art, IMMA, since the early 1990′s. In addition to housing the museum the Royal Hospital Kilmainham (RHK) is also a great venue for conferences and events.
The Royal Hospital was inspired by Les Invalides in Paris and work on the building started in 1680 and it remained an old soldiers home until 1927.
