Phoenix Park Dublin Hotels

Phoenix Park is one of the largest enclosed city parks in Europe and extends to over 700 hectares. It was established in the 17th Century by the Duke of Ormond on behalf of King Charles II. The Phoenix Park is famous for its herd of Fallow Deer that have been in the park since the 1660′s. The park is also home to Aras an Uachtarain, the residence of the President of Ireland. Also located in the Park is one of Dublin’s most popular visitor attractions –  Dublin Zoo.
