The International Financial Services Centre Dublin (IFSC) is based in the Dublin Docklands Area and is easily accessed from the Ashling Hotel using the Luas Red Line which runs in front of the hotel. The IFSC was established in 1987 and houses mainy of the leading financial services companies, including banks, asset management companies, specialised insurance operations and many more.
There are more than 500 operations trading in the centre such as Merrill Lynch, Citibank, JP Morgan, Commerzbank, BNP Paribas, ABN Amro adn EMRO.
The IFSC also has a selection of hotels and restaurants to choose from as well as the CHQ sopping centre, which is a converted 19th century merchant warehouse. Also located beside the IFSC is the Convention Centre Dublin.
