The Bloom Garden Festival takes place in the Phoenix Park over the June Bank Holiday. The 5 day Bloom In The Park runs from the 30th of May to the 3rd of June and provides show gardens, food pavillion, exhibitors, family entertainment and much more besides to keep you entertained. All of which takes place in the heart of the Phoenix Park beside the OPW Victorian Walled Garden.  The event attracted over 80,000 visitors in 2012 and is one of the largest family, food & gardening event in the country.

Arthur’s Day is celebrated across the world on the 27th of September, but in Arthur’s home town the celebrations are that bit more special.

Arthur’s Day is a celebration of the history of Guinness in Ireland, with the establishment of the brewery at St. James’s Gate in 1759, with Arthur Guinness signing a 9,000 year lease and the start of a legend began. In 1009 Arthur’s Day celebrations were created to mark 250 years of Guinness in Ireland and has since then become a much anticipated yearly event with activities to mark the Day taking place across the city and indeed in many locations outside Ireland.

The Dublin Festival Season kicks-off in September with the Absolut Fringe Festival, which runs from the 8th to the 23rd of September. It is an arts festival with a twist, featuring a mix of music, drama and performance art in a variety of venues in Dublin City. Over 90 artists will perform in over 30 venues across Dublin City over the 16 days that the Festival runs.
